Fairies of Blossom Bakery: Button and the Baking Disaster.pdf
Mandy Archer's love of words started one Christmas when Santa brought her a typewriter. Wind forward three decades and Mandy's still typing. After training as an editor, she went on to become the Creative Head of Children's Books for BBC Worldwide, nurturing a host of characters including Wallace & Gromit and the Teletubbies. Since then she has devised all kinds of titles for children and teens, ranging from board books for babies through to paperbacks and pop-ups. For the record, she still can't shake her stationery habit. Her prize possession is a rather snazzy electronic pencil sharpener. Kirsteen Harris-Jones left school at 16 and attended the North Wales school of art and design. Her career has spanned lots of areas from advertising houses, creative/ graphic design houses and even animation studios. SInce then she has remained busy as a freelance artist. Her achievements to date are winning the NEWI Caldecott prize, and a highly commended at Macmillan for 'Gilda's brother'.
It's the last week of Fairy Academy and the fairy friends are looking forward to revealing their final projects. Button loves the poem she's been writing but changes her mind at the last minute - she'll bake something instead. But there hasn't been time to practise and Button's convinced she's failed. Will her friends be able to save the day? A gorgeous new series about fairies, friendship and baking!
