范小红,山东建筑大学,副教授,作者一直以来承担《材料成形技术基础》、《冲压工艺及模具设计》、《锻造工艺学》及《专业英语》课程的教学工作。并承担材料成型及控制工程方向的金工实习、生产实习、课程设计及毕业设计等实践工作。
主审许斌教授,博士生导师(山东大学兼职)。主要从事材料表界面、超硬材料合成、材料电子理论的科研工作,一直以来承担《材料科学基础》等课程的教学工作。作为第一作者或通讯作者发表学术论文50余篇,其中被SCI、EI收录40余篇;获山东省科技进步二等奖2项(第一、二位各1项),山东省自然科学二等奖2项(第二、五位各1项)、三等奖1项(第1位);作为第一发明人授权国家发明专利3项

随着经济全球化的发展,国内制造业的产品出口份额迅速增加,同时也涌现了大量的合资及外资企业。加上国有大中型企业产品结构的调整,这些企业作为用人单位,对毕业生的外语提出了更高的要求,精通外语专业已成为对大中型企业工程技术人员的基本要求。
为了满足高等院校材料成型及控制工程专业本、专科教学需要,我们编写了本书。其中精选了铸造、塑性成型、焊接等方面的专业英语课文,并在文后对重要词汇进行了注释,提出了思考题;课文的选用依据覆盖面广、代表性强和短而精的原则,重点突出了与上述三个实际生产应用较多的专业方向有关的经典英语课文。对于材料成型及控制工程领域的专业人员来说也可在生产实践中参考本书。
本书由山东建筑大学范小红、徐勇主编,李静、赵忠魁、任国成、林晓娟、项东参与了教材的编写工作。山东建筑大学的许斌教授认真审阅了本书,并提出了许多宝贵意见。

The screw press uses a friction, gear, electric, or hydraulic drive to accelerate the flywheel and the screw assembly, and it converts the angular kinetic energy into the linearenergy of the slide or ram.
Load and Energy. In screw presses, the forging load is transmitted through the slide,screw, and bed to the press frame. The available load at a given stroke position is suppliedby the stored energy in the flywheel. At the end of the downstroke after the forging blow,the flywheel comes to a standstill and begins its reversed rotation. During the standstill,the flywheel no longer contains any energy. Therefore, the total flywheel energy EFT hasbeen transformed into!
Energy available for deformation Ep to carry out the forging process.
Friction energy Ef to overcome frictional resistance in the screw and in the gibs.
Deflection energy Ed to elastically deflect various parts of the press.
At the end of a downstroke, the deflection energy Ed is stored in the machine and canbe released only during the upward stroke.
The flywheel in Fig. 2-11(a) is accelerated to such a velocity that at the end of downstroke the deformation is carried out, and no unnecessary energy is left in the fly-wheel. This is done by using an energy-metering device that controls flywheel velocity. Theflywheel shown in Fig. 2-11(b) has excess energy at the end of the downstroke. The excessenergy from the flywheel stored in the press frame at the end of the stroke is used to beginthe acceleration of the slide back to the starting position immediately at the end of thestroke. The screw is not self-locking and is easily moved.
